Protect Your Investment

Paint Protection Kits offer a unique blend of technology and durability. The extra layers provide additional shield against potential threats like rocks and debris. Tinted films not only protect but also offer an enhanced aesthetic appeal. Vehicles like your 2002 Honda CR-V benefit immensely from such precision engineering. It's an assurance that a 2002 Honda CR-V will flaunt its vibrant colors for years. Another advantage is the self-healing capabilities of these films. Install Yourself and Save

Dry the vehicle completely using a lint-free cloth to prevent any water spots. Preparing the application solution is the next step; mix water with a few drops of dish soap. Begin the application by peeling the film's backing and spraying the adhesive side with the solution. Once satisfied with the positioning, firmly squeegee out the remaining solution underneath the film. If any lifting occurs, you can use a hairdryer to heat the area and press the film back down. Investing in professional installation can also be an option for those unfamiliar with the process. Ensuring a successful installation guarantees that your 2002 Honda CR-V remains in pristine condition.

This was my first installation of protective film on an automobile. Window tinting some experience but that's not quite the same. The first 149,000 miles were protected with opaque covering (like a fitted jacket) that was beginning to fail (see photos). The car is garaged most of the time but is 17 years old so clay cloth removed the accumulated debris; however, it could not remove the two dings that came with the rocks that required windshield replacement. The effect of the clay cloth is noticeable in photos of the fenders (the entire hood was scrubbed with a clay cloth). The after photos illustrate the novice installation (note bubbles in closeups). The side benefit of installing protective film is having to clay cloth the entire car.
