Rapid Tac II
(4 oz) |
Rapid Tac
II is designed for the fast and easy quality "wet"
installation of vinyl graphics in fall and winter months and is
specially formulated for glass applications. Team Rvinyl recommends
this application fluid for the Chrome, Carbon Fiber II and Brushed
Aluminum series films. Rapid Tac
II reduces air bubbles and even promotes adhesion
in humid weather.
Granted, not all applications call for a "wet" application
procedure, but we do know that in most applications, forty percent to
sixty percent of installation time can be saved by using an application
fluid. Sometimes a project normally requiring two people to apply dry
can be done in less time by one person if an application fluid is used
like Rapid Tac. (Rapid Tac II bonds faster than
Rapid Tac and is intended for films with a lower tac adhesive than
premium vinyls.)
Application fluid cleans without leaving residues. It then helps to
"float" the vinyl until it is positioned. Best of all it stimulates the
adhesive to bond in approximately ninety seconds, even in a colder
environment. It will not cause bubbles so there's no poking holes in
your graphic.
Rvinyl recommends the use of Rapid Tac II
for larger format graphic installations where the "wet" method is
applied. This is generally recommend for graphics over 36 inches in
length.
Instructions:
1. Shake well before use.
2. With Rapid Tac II and a paper towel, clean application surface
thoroughly. (In the case of glass, clean twice to remove residue
left by glass cleaners).
3. Spray surface again, remove backing paper from the decal or body
graphic, and apply to the wet area.
4. Position and squeegee firmly. Vinyl is now bonding to the
surface.
5. Wait 30 - 90 seconds. No spray the transfer tape (paper
transfer tape only) and squeegee again.
6. You may remove the wet paper transfer tape by pulling from the top
corner at a 45 degree angle.
7. Wipe area dry to remove excess fluid and streaks.
Note: Strict cleaning guidelines must be followed when preparing glass
surface application areas. |
