What is this product?
Tail Light Film kits are precut smoked, red or clear film overlays.  Our Tail Light Film is designed to smoke or tint the color of your tail lights. They come pre-cut in the shape of your tail light as shown in the product diagram ready to apply.
 
CAD designed for OEM Factory tail light applications (not intended to fit aftermarket lights).

Pre-Cut Tail Light Film is easier to apply than tail light film wraps or spray tint.

Applies similarly to decal or sticker using a wet application method.

Rvinyl Film carries a 3 year warranty, designed to last up to five years.

What Tail Light Film application tools do you recommend?
Rvinyl recommends the use of an application squeegee which will reduce air bubbles during installation and aide in heat conforming the tail light film.  By using a low friction sleeve, you will reduce the chance of scratching your Tail Light Film during application. Application solutions such as Rapid Clear will remove any dirt or debris from your lights and Rapid Tac will aide in the wet application of our Tail Light Film kits. We strongly recommend the use of these products to achieve professional results.

What is Installation Insurance?
Rvinyl wants you to have a successful installation with professional results. By adding installation insurance at the time of your order, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your installation we will replace your original tail light film order free of charge all you pay is shipping.

What is the difference between Tint and Protection film?
Rvinyl Protection Kits are made from an optically clear 20mil (.020") thick clear film or a 17mil (.017") thick color film. Rvinyl Non-protective tint film uses a transparent vinyl which is 3mil (.003")thick. These films are not made from urethane, do not use optically clear adhesives, reduce light transmission and provide no light protection. The Clear Lite Rshield line of protective films is 4mil thick.

Are your colored films legal on Tail Lights for street use?
Clear Protection films are legal. Our smoked films may not be legal for street use on primary lighting. Please check your state or local laws before application. All non-clear film tints are intended for off-road show car use only.

Do you offer kits for smoking head lights?
We do offer many popular car model pre-cut kits in our smoked head light tint kits section.

What is the difference between Tail Light Tint, Film Overlays and Covers?
There is no difference, they are the same product simply called different things in varying markets.
