1080 Series 3M™ Satin Neon, Avery Dennison® SF 100 Fluorescent and Rwraps™ Gloss Neon vinyl wrap films are made for use it right out of the box. There's no need to print or apply an overlaminate. However, due to the fact that the fluorescent colors fade more quickly than other colors we recommend that you do add one if you intend to keep your vehicle in direct sunlight. Made form high-quality, cast film for dimensional stability and durability, you can depend on them not to discolor or deform even around the craziest of curves. Neon Fluorescent colored vinyls fade much faster than normal vinyl colors and can fade in less than three months in direct sunlight. Heat-stretched areas tend to fade faster than "non-stretched" areas but overlaminating with clear vinyls designed to reduce the effects of UV light can double the fade resistance life. Keeping out of direct sunlight in the highest UV parts of the day will help. Horizontal (top) areas tend to fade faster than the vertical (side) areas.
Although these ORACAL® Fluorescent films can be used as wraps they are more often used in sign and craft applications due to their superior durability, 24-inch wide format and higher tack adhesives. Choose from six great neon colors and enjoy up to 2 years of outdoor life when you use your Silhouette, Cricut, Brother or any other brand of electronic cutter to make safety decals, display signage or die-cut craft decals and lettering.

When you're thinking of buying a fluorescent vinyl film for your next sign, craft or wrapping application there are a number of steps you should follow if you want to ensure you buy the right film for the job. Even though seven is an arbitrary number we have chosen these 7 steps to help you make the best decision and get the most for your money.
Decide how you want to use the film. If you want a vehicle wrap you'll be more likely to choose a larger format wrap from 3M™ or Avery™ whereas if you intend to make die-cut decals or signage you'll want to use a premium cast film like ORACAL® 6510 or 7510. Next, you should decide how long you want your application to last. Use the chart above to make an informed decision.
Steps 3 and 4 are pretty straightforward: decide if you'll be using your film outside or inside and if you'll be cutting it on a Cricut, Silhouette or other electronic cutter.
Do you want a flat, satin finish or a high-gloss shine? How about color? If you want a neon blue you'll have to buy Avery™ SF 100 Fluorescent but pretty much every carries a neon green.
