I'm doing a 89 Honda shadow VTX 600, the tank, the front and back fenders and two side panels

The amount of vinyl needed to wrap various parts of a motorcycle can depend on several factors including the exact dimensions of the parts and the complexity of the curves and shapes involved. However, I can give you a rough estimation to help you get started. Tank: Motorcycle tanks can vary in size, but generally, a sheet of about 60 inches by 30 inches should be sufficient to wrap the tank of an 89 Honda Shadow VTX 600. Front and Back Fenders: For both fenders, you might need a sheet that is roughly 60 inches by 30 inches each to cover them fully. This size should give you some margin to work with for the curves and edges. Side Panels: The side panels are usually smaller compared to the tank and fenders. A 30 inches by 20 inches sheet for each panel should be sufficient. Therefore, adding up the estimates, we would have: Tank: 60 x 30 inches = 1800 square inches Front Fender: 60 x 30 inches = 1800 square inches Rear Fender: 60 x 30 inches = 1800 square inches Side Panels: 30 x 20 inches x 2 = 1200 square inches Adding these up gives a total of 6600 square inches or about 45.83 square feet of vinyl. Please note, it is always better to buy a little extra to account for errors, miscuts, and potentially underestimating the amount needed, especially if it's your first time doing a wrap. Moreover, always measure the exact dimensions of the parts you are wrapping to get a more accurate estimate.
