Avery Dennison™ Satin Light Blue Series Supreme Wrapping™ Film

Who doesn't love thesoft, cool look of Satin Light Blue? Now you can wrap your car, truck, motorcycle or just about anything else in the sky blue tones of this Satin Light Blue film. When you choose this Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping film in Satin Light Blue you will get a classy looking Light Blue hued film that's not too flashy like chrome or gloss and not overly subdued like matte Light Blue either. This Satin Light Blue wrapping film is just the color change film you have been looking for and its good looks are only paralleled by its incredible multi-cast performance.

Why Choose Avery Dennison SW900 Light Blue Satin Series Vinyl Film?

If you're looking for a sophisticated style with unparalleled performance then you'll want to consider Avery Dennison's Satin Series. Flatter than high-gloss finishes but not nearly as dull as Matte, Satin Supreme Wrapping vinyl is the perfect middle-ground. Choose from dozens of great colors and restyle your car, truck, boat, ATV and just about anything else you can think of.

What is the Difference Between Matte and Satin Films?

In terms of vinyl films, wraps with a satin finish reflect more light than matte and are therefore considered to be semi-gloss. In general, satin films are easier to maintain than true matte films which smudge and retain surface oils much more easily.

How Long Will Satin Supreme Wraps Last?

Avery Dennison™ Supreme 900 films are designed to give you long life and durability. Although the actual outdoor life will vary depending upon your climate and application (horizontal versus vertical applications) you can expect to get up to 5 years out of your Satin vinyl wrap.

I bought and personally designed my race car with the Avery Dennison light blue, 3m gloss bright orange and 3m gloss white. I race in a professional series off road and this vinyl holds really strong against rock and dirt debris. As long as you follow the proper install instructions it will look great and last long.

Purchases two 1-foot lengths of different blue wraps as samples, to determine which of the two we liked for our vehicle:
1) Avery Dennison SW900 Supreme Wrapping Film - Satin Light Blue
2) 3M Wrap Film Series 1080 - Matte Riviera Blue (Replaced by 3M™ 2080).

Had also purchased a squeegee with sleeve, Rapid Prep solution, and the Edge Sealer Pen.

Both wrap colors were nice, but we preferred the 3M Matte Riviera Blue as it was a bit deeper in color and had the matte finish. We then used our 1-foot length to cover a small section of the rear hatch on the vehicle. We learned a lot about how to do the wrapping by doing the smaller part of the car first; this included how to prep, lay-down, heat and seal, and cut the wrap. After two tries, we got it right and are very satisfied.

We finally decided we loved it and are now ordering more to finish the job on the remainder of the vehicle.

How much would I need for an 08. Hyundai tiburon??
October 24, 2021 4:55 PM
Selena, Gosh, we miss the Tiburon, Hyundai should bring it back! You are probably going to need about 18-20 yards as it is a smaller vehicle. This will take into account having to redo some areas if it is a DIY wrap. We have three great articles and one amazing video you can see at the below links to help in your buying decision: How to Measure Your Vehicle for Vinyl Wrapping (Video) Buying Guide How Much Vinyl To Buy

How much will I need for a 2012 Ford E150 Cargo Van?
February 13, 2024 10:45 AM
Given that a full wrap for a vehicle of this size may require approximately 250 to 350 square feet of vinyl, we can calculate the linear feet needed by dividing the total square footage by the width of the vinyl roll in feet. Let's calculate the linear feet for both the lower and upper end of the estimated range using a 5-foot wide roll: For 250 square feet of coverage: Linear feet = Total Square Feet Width of the roll in feet Linear feet= Width of the roll in feet Total Square Feet ? For 350 square feet of coverage: Linear feet = Total Square Feet Width of the roll in feet Linear feet= Width of the roll in feet Total Square Feet ? Let's perform these calculations. For a 2012 Ford E-150 Cargo Van, you would need approximately: 50 linear feet of vinyl wrap for the lower estimate (250 square feet of coverage). 70 linear feet of vinyl wrap for the higher estimate (350 square feet of coverage), assuming the vinyl roll is 60 inches (5 feet) wide. These estimates provide a range to account for full coverage, including allowances for overlap, complex curves, and potential reapplication areas. It's always a good idea to consult with or purchase a little extra material to ensure you have enough for the entire project.
