Oldsmobile Dash Kits

When you're looking to restore or upgrade your interior an Oldsmobile custom dash kit is probably the best option available to you in terms of its cost and ease of installation. Because all the dash kits we carry are meant for DIY installation, you can save hundreds of dollars as compared to having the dealership or a custom shop install the interior accent kit. But, just because our Oldsmobile dash kits are meant for do it yourself installation doesn't mean that they are anything but the best. So, whether you have a classic Cutlass, Regency or are cruising in an Alero or Achieva, you can get the upgrade you want at a price you just won't believe.

Oldsmobile:  An American Automotive Tradition

Oldsmobile was first founded in 1897 and was, therefore, the oldest American automotive marque in continuous production until it ceased operations in 2004. Because of its storied 107 year history, Oldsmobile grew to be a cultural icon with many of its successes having taken place in the Forties and Fifties. By the time the 1990s rolled around, GM's line-up had become over-stuffed with brands and divisions that were often unclear in terms of their direction and there was significant overlap. Therefore, even before the Great Recession of 2008, GM discontinued the brand in an effort to strengthen its other marques.

Oldsmobile designs in many ways resembled the styling's of Chrysler's Chrysler division of passenger cars and Ford's Lincoln division and marketed to the same demographic. Despite this there were some bright spots in Oldsmobile's most recent designs. The Alero was one such design success and shared its platform with the 1995 - 1999 Pontiac Grand Am which although another stylish entry by GM, suffered from poor build quality and safety ratings. The Alero was built to replace the Achieva and Cutlass lines and was the last car to be produced by the Oldsmobile division before the entire division was shut down.

Which Dash Kit to Choose

Benevento has been making high-quality dash kits for the automotive industry for well over thirty years. In fact, until GM's bankruptcy filing, Benevento was the OEM supplier of dash kits to Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, GMC and Pontiac which should tell you something about their quality and performance. Designed with CAD technology Benevento dash kits are laser cut from premium materials like real carbon fiber and wood grain veneers and then hand-poured with a polyurethane lacquer to give each kit a beveled, OEM finish. And, since all of their dash trim kits are meant to last a lifetime, they use high quality very high bond foam trim tape on every piece of trim to ensure that the dash kits never delaminate.

In addition to Benevento, we are also proud to offer DL Auto, Automaxus and Rdash® kits for your Oldsmobile. All of these dash kits offer you the right mix of style and affordability. If you're looking for a kit that is as quick and easy to install as Benevento dash kits but at a lower price why not try an Automaxus dash kit for your Olds? Made from the same materials but with additional color and pattern options these kits are not domed with polyurethane so they allow for the satin or flat look of certain woodgrains and brushed aluminum to come through while giving the kit a lower profile. Rvinyl trim kits are even thinner and come with more pieces than any other dash trim kit on the market.

Great quality product. I just love it. It looks more money inside the car. Some of the pieces were not 100% perfect.

The product looks great except wasn't an exact match for my vehicle. It still looks cool but would have liked it to cover more seamlessly.

Unfortunately I had to return my order, but not for the reason you might think. The day after ording I was T-boned and the car was totaled. So I had no use for the product. However, when I received the package I did open it up and look at it. It did seem to be a higher quality material and looked overall great, to bad I wasn't able to use it... (obviously I was not able to install the product so I am unsure about installation but was forced to rate installation in this review)
