How much blue would I need to to complete my whole 2006 Ford crown Victoria
Fred,
That's a great question and depends on how you wish to wrap your Ford and what kind of film you are using. Solid color with seams would take less film than say a patterned finish like carbon fiber where grain orientation and seams could be more visible. In general, You are probably going to need about 20-22 yards for your Crown Vic. We have two great articles you can read to help in your buying decision: Buying Guide and How Much Vinyl To Buy
I have a 2006 Ford E150 painted Texas A&M maroon. Vehicle heats intensely during summer sun months. Want to ""Chrome" the top of the van with wrap to reflect the summer sun and cut the heat in the interior. Can you list for me specifically what I need to buy to accomplish this. I have no tools related to this exercise. Dont cut corners I NEED a complete work up for purchase order. Thank you, Bryan Shuler
Bryan, Interesting question. I am not sure of the effectiveness of wrapping your roof in chrome to reduce heat inside your vehicle. Typically, tinted windows are the best way to reduce heat.
When you go to add the item to the cart in color and size you like, you can select the tools. We recomend a Squeegee with Friction sleeve, razor, Rapid Tac, Rapid Prep and Rapid Clear. You will most likely need a heat sources such as a heat gun to help conform the film around some of the contoured edges.
How much wrap is used on a 2004 ford expedition
Bernie February 4, 2020 2:44 PM
Hi Bernie,
We usually recomend 20 - 25yds as the Expedition is a larger sized SUV! This will allow for a margin of error and leave you with some extra film to potentially re-wrap some problem areas. We have two great articles you can read to help in your buying decision:
