Mercedes-Benz Pillar Post Trim

With a lineup that includes entry-level luxury cars like the CLA and crossover GLA to 12-cylinder SUVs that cost more than some houses, Mercedes-Benz is one of the world’s best-known luxury automakers. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is the automaker’s most popular vehicle, beating out the E-Class line of cars and as well as the new GLC-Class crossover. In additon to their new offerings, Mercedes vehicles age well so there's certainly no shortage of older models on the road. So, whether you've got a late-model Benz or an older Mercedes, we've got all of the options you need to upgrade, protect and refinish your pillar posts.

What Are Pillars Anyway?

In essence, your Mercedes-Benz's pillars are the vertical support posts which are located around all the glass on your ride. They're not only important for holding glass in place but they also add structural integrity to a vehicle, primarily the roof. The "A" pillars holds the windshield in place while the "B" pillars start at the end of the first door and usually offer substantial structural support for the roof. Depending on the design, there may be multiple pieces attached to increase the integrity of the roof. They are also responsible for where a door's latch connects to the body. "C" pillars hold a vehicle's rear window in place unless there are additional windows, in which case these may be termed "D" pillars.

I had discoloration on my drivers side pillar between the front and back door. I went online to find a vinyl wrap to cover them and give a cleaner look. I was getting ready to sell the car and didn't want another noticeable mark on my car. I ended up selling it yesterday, so I didn't enjoy them very long. But, they looked great for the couple days I had them!

These look great but very thin and flimsy - kind of scared to how they will hold up in the rain, wind, and elements - I guess time will tell but not betting on it
