Walnut Wood Grain Craft Films

Walnut has long been a favorite of furniture makes and architectural designers and has even found its way into the sdash trim of luxury automobiles. Our Rcraft™ Walnut films feature a semi-gloss finish with reddish straight grain that is embossed so you can actually feel it. That's right, you can actually run your finger nails along these Rcraft™ wood grain vinyl films and feel the grain! It's so realistic you might just get a splinter!

Another great feature of our Rcraft™ wood grain vinyl films is that they are made for both indoor and outdoor use. What that means for you is that you can install them on your dash board or on your vehicle's side panels without having to worry about the film peeling, cracking or fading for at least threes and, in all honesty, for many, many more. Plus, because they're made using specialty semi-permanent adhesives they can be removed at any time without causing damage to your vehicle.

Designed for Do-It-Yourselfers

Like all of our products, Rcraft™ Walnut wood grain vinyl films are designed specifically for do-it-yourself installation. Sold by the foot an available e in 12 or 24 inch widths, these self-adhesive craft films go on easy just like a decal or sticker. All you need to do to successfully install them is clean and prepare the surface of whatever you're craft (we recommend Rapid Prep  for this), make sure the ambient temperature is between 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit for the best results and then peel and stick. For larger jobs we also advise you to use Rapid Tac to help reposition the film and a heat source like a hair or blow dryer but, other than that, you don't need any special tools or glues.

Over the past decade we've been lucky enough to see our customers install Walnut wood grain films on just about everything under the sun. Here are some of the best and coolest applications we've seen:

  • To hide damaged factory trim
  • To film motorcycles
  • To restore aircraft gauge panels
  • As counter and cabinet films
  • As iPhone skins

The new vinyl greatly improved the rearview.

The new vinyl greatly improved the rearview. The original back was terribly worn & shredded. I do wish the vinyl had looked less like cherry, & more like dark walnut. I tried twice to get a better shade to match the rest of the car. We are pleased with the product. Make: Chrysler Model: PT Cruiser Year: 2002

The product is quality, looks good, easy to install. My only problem is that when I received my vinyl it was somewhat wrinkly and had a few small rips.

Just received the vinyl - feels thinner than I was expecting. Just hope that it bonds to the aluminum instrument panel and doesn't peal back at the edges. Looks good though.
