Better than plastic covers

by | Toledo, OH |
I wanted to customize my 1992 Mustang, but did not want to use spray tints or plastic covers as I don't really like the bulky look. These worked out great, the smoke has a cool shade to it and you can still see into the light for that sort of factory look. Installation as you would expect is not super easy, but I am a do-it-yourself kinda guy.

2015 F-250 Headlights

by | Texas |
After a confusing delay and explanation given by customer service I received my pre-cut smoke headlight covers. Installation was impossible due to the cut out and curves of the headlight. Not to mention the whole piece was too small. Even if you were able to get it all in smoothly, you would have 1/4" of space all the way around. I understand you can use heat to stretch it, but it was not happening. If nothing else these should come slightly too big. You can always remove material, but you can never add. Keep in mind installation was attempted by a professional window tinter on a 70k truck. I have requested a refund and am sending the remaining parts back. 3 stars for value had it actually worked. Cost me labor and 10x the price to get the look I was after.

Great

Thanks looks great. Just wish each one was one piece. I guess they had to design it that way because of the curves.

Nice but unfortunate

by | Romulus, MI |

The tint looked great and installed fairly easily, but the tint dries out and causes spider cracking inside the headlight lenses. Id much rather put up with acrylic covers to have the look or nothing at all.

I'm giving the product 5 stars because...

by | New Mexico |
Ok so honestly it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped but I'm giving the product itself a 5 star rating because 1 the shipping was on time 2 the tint was cut well and not thin or cheep (as far as I can tell I'm no expert) 3 the installation video was helpful and they also added a few tips in the packaging now on to the downside of my experience I ended up with a few more bubbles and creases than I had hoped but I believe that was my own doing I used a bottle of water that I poked holes in the cap of for a spray bottle and I used an unnamed auto parts reward card for the squeegee and it was cold and my headlights are a little more curvy than that of a mini Cooper so if you are a perfectionist like me I strongly suggest getting the application kit they offer otherwise yours will look like mine (not actually that bad but could be better) if you don't though here are some tips use just a dab of dawn dish soap to your spray bottle of water and leave the clear protective film on while you heat and squeegee also a hair dryer works great for a heat gun so as ghetto as I did it it actually came out pretty well but I will probably be reording with the install kit to do it better so just save the time and money and get it all at once imho

Headlights and tail lights

by | Columbus, OH |
Purchased both headlight and taillight tints for my 2013 Ford Edge in midnight 33%. The headlight tint was very easy to install and the cuts were pretty close to perfect. They look great as well. The tail lights in the other hand not so much, but i dont think it is a product flaw, more less just the general curvy awkward shape of the tail light. Although the film was in two pieces for which i imagine easier to install with less air bubbles, even with the taillight temived and sitting on a table, i was unable to install them and discarded the idea. Once again believe it is just the shape of the tail light. Overall i think the products are wondeful and very easy to install.
