What is this product?
Tail Light Tint kits are a smoked, red or clear tint overlays designed to smoke or tint the color of your tail lights. They come pre-cut in the shape of your tail light as shown in the product diagram ready to apply.

Pre-Cut Tail Light Tint is easier to apply than tail light tint wraps or spray tint.

CAD designed for OEM Factory tail light applications (not intended to fit aftermarket lights).

Applies similarly to decal or sticker using a wet application method.

Carries a 3 year warranty, designed to last up to five years.

What Tail Light Tint application tools do you recommend?
Rvinyl recommends the use of an application squeegee which will reduce air bubbles during installation and aide in heat conforming the tail light tint. By using a low friction sleeve, you will reduce the chance of scratching your tail light tint during application. Application solutions such as Rapid Clear will remove any dirt or debris from your lights and Rapid Tac will aide in the wet application of our tail light tint kits. We strongly recommend the use of these products to achieve professional results.

What is Installation Insurance?
Rvinyl wants you to have a successful installation with professional results. By adding installation insurance at the time of your order, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your installation we will replace your original headlight tint order free of charge all you pay is shipping.

What is the difference between Tint and Protection tint?
Rvinyl Protection Kits are made from an optically clear 20mil (.020") thick clear tint or a 17mil (.017") thick color tint. Rvinyl Non-protective tint tint uses a transparent vinyl which is 3mil (.003")thick. These tints are not made from urethane, do not use optically clear adhesives, reduce light transmission and provide no light protection. The Clear Lite Rshield line of protective tints is 4mil thick.

Are your colored tints legal on Tail Lights for street use?
Clear Protection tints are legal. Our smoked tints may not be legal for street use on primary lighting. Please check your state or local laws before application. All non-clear tint tints are intended for off-road show car use only.

Do you offer kits for smoking head lights?
We do offer many popular car model pre-cut kits in our smoked head light tint kits section.

What is the difference between Tail Light Tint, Film Overlays and Covers?
There is no difference, they are the same product simply called different things in varying markets.
