975CR Crocodile Cast Series Film Specifications

975CR Premium Structure Cast Wraps are made for use without overlaminates (we're not even sure how you can apply one to its scaly face) so you can start wrapping as soon as you get your roll. And, at 5-6 mil thick, 975CR Premium Cast wraps are thicker than either Avery™ SW900 or 3M™ 1080, making it easier to wrap even the craziest of curves and corners.

Don't ask us why they named the green Crocodile Fir Tree, it seems almost intentionally confusing since most people already associate reptiles with greens but we're not German so maybe it makes more sense in Deutsche.

What Makes This 975CR Structure Cast Vinyl a Wrap Film?

Unlike calendered and polyester, these Crocodile 975CR films are engineered specifically for wrapping. What that means they are thicker by as many as two to three mil over craft and sign vinyl to allow for more stretchability, they feature air-egress channels in their adhesives to prevent bubble formation and they come standard in sixty inch wide rolls. All of these characteristics make them uniquely suited to wrapping and do not lend themselves to labels or smaller lettering.

Are ORACAL® 975CR Vehicle Wraps Easy to Install?

Ease of installation depends on how experienced you are installing vinyl wraps but this 975CR Crocodile Vinyl Wrapping film undoubtedly makes it easier. As we said above, its 5 to 6 mil thickness and air-release adhesives give you a lot of room for mistakes so even first-time installers will be able to get professional looking results provided they follow the basic guidelines for wrap installation. Simply clean well, apply heat and squeegee on. The rest is history.
