After peeling off the paperback to the wrap I could tell it was high quality because of the airation pattern of the inner wrap. I did a wet installation but when heated it molds well!

I've done wrapping installations before, but never worked with ORACAL, only Avery. I thought I'd give ORACAL a try since they had a color that was closest to my car. It was pretty difficult to work with, compared to Avery. There were a lot of air bubbles and I couldn't just press down to make them go away, like Avery. The material felt pretty thin and actually ripped it a couple of times when trying to stretch it. Overall, i think it came out okay, but I'd definitely try Avery. Also, I'd recommend buying from rvinyl. Shipping was on time and the price is very competitive if you're planning to wrap smaller pieces.

I used Oracal 8800 translucent film for a back lit sign restoration project. The film was installed on white acrylic. While the film looks great, its difficult to apply as a rookie. I did a dry install and maybe next time I'll do a wet install (see Oracal instructions). I used a plastic tool to do the install but still had bubbles which I had to slightly pierce in order to bleed the air out. I got better as I went but with this film being somewhat expensive, there's no real way to practice.
