Custom Rivian fog light covers protect the most
vulnerable lighting on your car from the ravages of the road
and the deleterious effects of the elements. Rtint fog and
running light kits are sold as pairs in either a 3 to 4 mil
film perfect for UV shielding or in a 12 to 15 mil
professional grade film meant to give you the ultimate in rock
and road debris protection. But, the customization options
don't stop there. In addition to choosing the right thickness
for your daytime running light protection kit you can also
choose from tinted, colored or clear film. Among some of our
most popular shades of protective tint are yellow, blue and
green but are biggest seller in any of our protective films is
our high-gloss, invisible clear film.
Each warranty backed Rivian fog light protection
package is made to order for you and usually takes between
seven to fourteen business days to complete and ships within
one business day of completion. At the time of shipment you
will receive an email with a tracking number and, in most
cases, your custom protection kit will be at your door within
five to seven business days. Where else can you get a
completely customized fog light cover made for your exact
make, model and year in the color and film grade you want
shipped to you in one business day? Nowhere else, that's
where. In addition to these great product features, we also

Application tools are not included, but are recommended simply because they make installing your kit that much easier. Rapid Prep fluid is specially designed to remove any residue or build-up that would interfere with the protection covers' adhesives while the squeegee with friction sleeve assists in heat-stretching the film over the surface of the fog light without scuffing or marring the finish. Rapid Clear solution is also recommended for aftercare as it is formulated for use on Rtint kits as well as any vinyl decals or graphics you have on your vehicle.
Rtint Smoked Films come in two different shades of smoke. The darkness of the shade is measured in a VLT (Variable Light Transmission) percentage. This number measures the amount of light that can be transmitted through the tint naturally with no back-lighting coming from a bulb. The higher the number, the the brighter the light will be that is allowed to pass through and the least amount of effective it will have on light output. The lower the number, the darker your light will appear. It works opposite of window tint VLT as you are trying to make the light appear darker on the outside rather than from the inside. Rtint Smoke film, which is by far our most popular shade, will smoke your lights by about 38% while still allowing 62% of light to enter the housing. It will not block 38% of back-lighting coming from a bulb, but will certainly have an affect on light output.
