And, when you're looking for a complete vehicle wrap or have an architectural application like a booth or the walls of your man cave, the fifty-nine inch wide size is exactly what you need.
How to Plan Your Wrap
As you may have noticed above, we have taken the time to show you the scale of the pattern of this film. The image with the man (or woman, we're not sexist) shows how the digital print looks in a 59" (approximately 5 feet) by 72" (6 feet) sheet. The image is to scale so it should be helpful in determining how the print will look on your car, truck, motorcycle, or anything else you decide to wrap. Please note, however, that the entire pattern is not visible here (in other words, the repeating pattern is much larger than 5 by 6 feet so you won't necessarily get what is shown).
The 12 by 12-inch tile shows you how you can expect the wrap to look on smaller applications like dash wraps or skateboards. Again, not every one foot square section will have this exact part of the pattern but it should give you a general idea of what to expect.
How to Measure for Wrapping
To Laminate or Not to Laminate
All of our Rwraps™ 914 Series films come with a gloss laminate as the default choice. But, since we're all about aesthetic customization, you get the final say. Choose from Gloss, Matte or even No Laminate on your digitally printed wrap.
Please note that lamination increases the life of your wrap (this applies equally to gloss or matte laminates) and should always be selected for outdoor applications. Unlaminated wraps are only recommended for low traffic, indoor use.
Made for Makers
The popularity of our digitally printed film doesn't appear to be waning; in fact, people are constantly coming up with new and unusual applications for them. These wraps were originally designed with vehicles in mind but you can use them on any hard, non-porous surface you can imagine. No need for messy primers or additional fluids, simply clean the surface of whatever you want to wrap and apply. Use a razor to cut away any excess film and you're done.
