I recently installed a carbon fiber vinyl wrap kit for my 2022 Toyota Corolla SE Apex interior, and overall, the results are clean and visually appealing — but there are some fitment issues buyers should be aware of.



? What fit well:

• Driver and front passenger armrest controller trims

• Center armrest panels

• Center console trim

• Middle dash trim

• Hazard light button and radio monitor (“infotainment”) surround



These areas had an almost exact precut fit, only needing minor adjustments during installation. The quality of the vinyl is good, and it enhances the sporty interior look, especially paired with the factory blue accents.



? What didn’t fit correctly:

• Rear passenger armrest controller trim

• Rear passenger middle door panels

• Front driver and passenger interior door handle surrounds



After some research, I found that these particular cutouts are designed for the Toyota Corolla Hatchback Nightshade and GR Corolla, not the sedan version. This is despite me clearly ordering a kit labeled for the Toyota Corolla Sedan — just like the ones offered by Rvinyl.



🛠 Customer Service Response:

I reached out to customer service and was told that the pattern available is the only one they offer. They did suggest purchasing an extra roll to manually cut the correct shapes myself. While I don’t mind doing a bit of custom work, I believe this should have been provided for free since I paid full price for a pattern that doesn’t fully match my vehicle.



?? Final Thoughts:

The vinyl itself is great quality, and most of the kit works really well. However, buyers should be warned that some patterns do not match the Corolla sedan trim, particularly for rear and door handle areas. I’d recommend this wrap if you’re comfortable trimming a few pieces yourself — but it’s disappointing that there was no warning or better support for sedan-specific discrepancies.

It is very thin. I was thinking soft carbon fiber. But I really needed thus for my radio so I guess it was worth it. I used soft carbon fiber for the rest of the car

Order arrived on time. Product looks wonderful. Installing was a breeze.

Several pieces of the kit don’t cover the original wood grain,got doubles of some pieces, was told it my fault and my wood grain plastics are aftermarket which they are not

The reason i gave this review is the vinyl is not covering everything especially on the doors leaving a big gap that looks so goofy now. Also, I had to do some work for one door cuz my car is occupied with more features cuz its fully loaded so i had to cuz more openings in the vinyl which took so much time

Didn’t receive all the right pieces but the ones I did get look great. Pretty easy to install.

I ordered the dash kit for the 2022 Camaro. The pieces were too large and did not fit. Being fair I have made Rvinyl aware of the issue and I am awaiting the solution from them. At this point they appear attentive and will update this review upon resolution. This is the reason for the 1star rating

I love the appearance and the installation isn't too bad once you get the hang of it. I had to order a 2nd kit to fix a couple of applications I wasn't happy with. I am very pleased with the center console wraps. the steering wheel could have been a bit more precise around the control knobs but I am also pleased with it. The door control pieces were the easiest to install but the it seems like the dimensions were not a tight as I would like. I would say be careful to avoid stretching the material during the installation. Also be very careful if using a heat gun the material gets very soft very fast.

Package came bent but I was still able to use most of the vinyl. Good quality and fits great.

Terrible fitment

I got this set in a timely manner was impressed however wasn’t packaged safely a corner was bent luckily didn’t affect the wrap itself as I begin to get it ready to cover the dash I cut out the sections to figure placement I have an 06 sti and the texture color look really nice as I’m setting in the wrap I notice that it’s cut a little short and doesn’t cover the boarder of the dash vents/ radio area looks cheap doesn’t cover whole dash I ended up with duplicate pieces two dash sets the side vent parts where to big and didn’t fit over vent the overhead lights didn’t match or fit properly I ended up with a lot of left over I couldn’t use.

the door ones worked well would have been nice to have one where the handle went



Just wish it would have been cut to actually cover more of the dash left a lot of the grey I was trying to cover up

The radio does not match radio on my car

As far as the product goes it was very good and easy to apply,,the only issue I had was I should have gotten the kit wo\air conditioning because they cut out for the vents and if you want the small flange covered you will have to cut little pcs. to fill the gap. also on my kit I received 2 of each pc. which helped a lot.

I’m pretty impressed with the look. Even more, impressed that I could install it myself! Easy to use and looks good.

I liked the price & quality of the dash kit. But, even though I ordered the correct product, it does not fit my vehicle. And the really bad part is I cannot get my money back since they will only give me a credit. Total waste of money!!!!!

The patterns of pathetically cut don’t fit properly just like the window tinting computer cut and I’m a window tinter for 40+ years never use that crap if you don’t know how to hand cut film, you should be tinting. I missing the piece around the shift boot because my CRV is a standard. They don’t have the piece for that around the clock, the center cupholder between the seats is about an inch plus too short

Send back blue didn’t match

I love the look of my dash kit but I can't use it. When I align the pieces up they are too small for my car.

This kit is high quality vinyl, very confusing without any instructions but with time you figure it out. Was missing one small vent piece no problem though. After day one install ever edge curled up so I was unhappy but then I used the edge pen they sell and it’s amazing. If you purchase a dash kit get the edge sealer. After that it’s amazing. Some pieces took some heating stretching so if you have never installed vinyl before this is not for beginners. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Overall, good. My main gripe is that the cut outs aren't 100% compatible with my 2003 mustang. The cut out layouts are accurate, but it was meant for a piece of the car that won't work. The lower door wrap is the lower car door, which has carpet on it. So, it would require me to extract the door panel to remove the carpet panel to apply the vinyl in its place (which is more work than it's worth). Most people at this point would probably give up, trash the product, and leave a negative review. However, I'm an artist, so I was able to repurpose some of the cutouts and create something beautiful (yet quite different, than what was initially presented).



Despite the shortcomings, it looks great, and enhances the interior of the car. I will say that the application videos on youtube are a bit dated. The videos go a bit too deep. The material is far more forgiving than I realized (which is a good thing). I made many mistakes, and was able to remove and reapply to perfect the strips to my liking. You have to be patient. The adhesive promotor is necessary, as long as you have a blow dryer, or heat gun to seal the deal. It will stick and mold to hold with heat. Also, I have the 3M pen applicators to go back over edges, to get it even better for a tighter bond.



I also plan to apply spray gloss protection on my vinyl to protect the integrity and colors (from sun light and oils from the skin). Take your time, and it will look amazing. Smooth out the bubbles. (Use a blade to make small cuts if you have to, - if done properly, the cuts are undetectable). Certain cuts may not be perfect, and you may have to be creative with your designs. It may be worth having a conversation to verify the compatibility of your car model. Overall, I like it, but it could be better.
