Applying Your Precut Pillar Trim
Each pillar post kit comes ready to install and won't fade or come unstuck for years to come. Applying the kit is easy, but we recommend that you also add application tools and fluids to your order. Use a squeegee to reduce air bubbles, Rapid Prep to remove dirt or debris from your pillar post surface, 3M™ Primer Pen to help your pillar post kit stick to the pillar post better and more quickly, and Seal-It Pens to seal the edges of your pillar post trim.
- Squeegee: This will reduce air bubbles and aide in heat conforming the decal and the low friction sleeves prevents scratches.
- Rapid Prep: Removes any dirt or debris from your pillar post surface
- 3M™ Primer Pen: We cannot recommend these highly enough. Using a primer will help your pillar post kit to stick to the pillar post better and more quickly.
- Seal-It Pens: These are used to seal the edges of your pillar post trim.

I installed the product today, and while it looks good, I had an issue after I installed the vinyl, while smoothing it out with a vinyl applicator the top of the vinyl ripped. And now even though it's small it's the only thing I can see while looking at the car, and now I fear that the vinyl will fail after a certain point. Other than that it was a seamless install, it was a bit difficult to sort out the drivers vs passenger and front vs back, but we managed it.
I bought the lifetime warranty so I will be reaching out about the rip.

Loved the product, easy to install with just following the videos they post online. Don’t rush the install. Take your time. Loved the results
Prior to installing it, the panels on my car were the least attractive part of my vehicle. Thankfully, the instructional video provided was helpful and the installation process itself was fairly easy. However, I would recommend having two pairs of hands available to assist with the installation. The only criticism I have is that some of the stickers were slightly too narrow to cover the entire panel. Despite this minor issue, my car now looks as good as new and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I would definitely recommend this product to others. You can see in the photo the trim I did not yet apply!
Used it to protect the trim on 2023 Colorado. I hope it doesn't fade in the sun! I would give it five stars except it was thinner than i thought, but kind of looks oem.
I like the product. My suggestion is to apply it on a calm day. It adheres well and gives a factory look.

Installed on a 2018 Ford Focus RS Final Edition, love the gloss look. Installs like a sticker.

The product has an excellent look and is quite easy to install on pillars. Before applying, make sure to clean the surface with alcohol to avoid any impurities that might prevent the adhesive from sticking properly. To avoid bubbles, use a flat card to smooth out the surface as you go. Additionally, it is recommended to peel off the adhesive gradually, section by section, for a better and smoother application.
I must say, I am very impressed with the product I recently purchased. The first thing that caught my attention was how durable it appeared to be. The quality of the material used truly speaks for itself. I also love the way it looks, it has really rejuvenated the area that was previously sun-beaten.
The instructions provided were very clear and easy to follow, and the installation video was a great help. I highly recommend taking the time to watch it, as it can be very helpful in ensuring that the product is installed correctly.
It's too early to tell how it will hold up in the long run, but I have a good feeling about it. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality and durable product.

I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. The product did not come as described. The A pillar was missing the key cut out and our C pillars were too big and required trimming. No where did it say I would need to trim anything. The product was also extremely scratched. I reached out to customer service and they were not helpful at all. DO NOT order this product!

Our pillar kits are designed to be vehicle-specific, and they should not arrive scratched or require unexpected modification. If a key cutout was missing or panels were incorrectly sized, that’s something we need to review immediately.

I have used these on 2 different cars and they look exceptional!!
I have a 2018 Escalade and my wife has the 2022 XT6. Both have the clear on the pillars coming off. So, it must be a GM thing. I thought about just getting them painted, but it would most likely cost a few hundred, if not several hundred. This is a great alternative. I got the glossy black. So, it hides better. I can imagine any other color or design, and you'll notice it doesn't truly cover the entire pillar. Overall, I definitely recommend this. Side note, there will be a few bubbles, but it will go away, especially after sitting under the sun.
Product does exactly what it states, makes it look brand new, we’ll see how long it holds up. Don’t make a mistake. Otherwise you have to buy all new pillar covers. You cannot buy just one.
I originally ordered a door pillar kit for my 2019 Tahoe. When it arrived, it was short one pillar piece. I emailed Rvinyl's customer service with the issue and received a response within an hour. Alyssa had a replacement kit, not just the one piece I was short, but a completely new kit. It arrived quickly and I couldn't be happier with my experience with Rvinyl!
I bought and received the Black Gloss Trim for my Infiniti 2016 windows. I have to say that they are exactly what I needed. Although the package does not include any tools, I was able to do the work myself with no difficulties. Highly recommended. Marina
The door pillar post trim fit perfectly and they look amazing!
Great color. Great quality. However fitment is off. A little more than I would like. Maybe a quarter inch on each side. Not noticeable from afar, but definitely not good looking from close. Overall would buy again. If you are heavily detail oriented I do not recommend buying.
Purchased after reviewing the "trim" description. As far as myself and others I had read the description this was indeed the trim I was expecting to receive. However, I received a wrap for trim. That is not exactly how the item is described, calling this "trim" is a bit deceptive. It should be called "Trim wrap" or "Vinyl wrap for trim". My kiddo, who just received his driver license, was hoping this would be the "trim" he was missing for his car doors. He has been fixing up a 2002 Honda Accord and he is quite proud of it. Throwing that out there because I am equally proud of him :) I digress, it wasn't until we saw an instillation video on the site that it became obvious what we ordered. It is the unfortunate reality of the world and a lesson for he and I to learn. We are so appreciative that this company was was willing to let us pay out of our pocket to return an item for store credit that we unknowingly purchased incorrectly based on their description. We will be very careful in the future and it is unlikely we will purchase anything from this retailer with our store credit or anything else in the future.
Vinyl was rolled tight on cardboard tube for shipment. This caused paper backing to be misalligned with vinyl. Was unable to apply properly due to misalignment and bubbles between paper backing and vinyl. After several attempts to align product per instructions determined product would not align properly due to paper backing being larger than vinyl due to poor shipment method.
Makes my side windows blend together looks fantastic
