Where You Should Not Apply Console Vinyl

Vinyl should make the console look better, not trap heat or block function. If a surface moves, vents, opens, plugs in, clicks, slides, spins, senses touch, or needs airflow, leave it uncovered.

Do not cover:

Vents, fans, heat exhaust areas, USB ports, HDMI ports, Ethernet ports, power ports, disc drives, buttons, sensors, rubber feet, speaker grilles, controller thumbsticks, trigger contact points, touchpads, or screens.

Tools Needed for DIY Console Wrapping

A successful installation requires the right wrap application tools. You will need vinyl wrap film, a felt-edge squeegee, a precision knife, a cutting mat, a measuring tape, and masking tape. How to Prep a Console Before Wrapping
