Not sure what a pillar post is? Well, they're the vertical, usually black trim pieces in between your windows. The A pillar is the pillar that connects your front windshield with your side front windows and is easily seen in the A4 and S4. The B pillar separates the front and rear side windows and the C pillar separates and supports the rear and port windows. Some larger Audis such as the A3 Wagon and Q7 even have a D pillar which is a result of an extra row of port windows. Supplies You'll Need for Your 3M™ or Rwraps™ Pillar Wrap

For the best results, be sure to get all of  the following tools and supplies:

  • Exacto-blade
  • Razor Squeegee
  • Isopropyl Alcohol or Rapid Prep
  • Heat Gun or Hair Dryer
  • 3M™ Primer Pen

Once you've got everything, clean and prepare the pillar posts with alcohol and or Rapid Prep fluid. Next, after having measured the amount needed for each pillar, do a rough cut and test fit. Once you have the appropriately sized vinyl, peel from backing and apply to the post. Finally, heat, squeegee on and trim. And, you're done!
