Does fluorescent vinyl glow in the dark?
No, fluorescent vinyl does not glow in the dark (that requires photoluminescent film), nor does it reflect headlights at night (that requires reflective film). Instead, it absorbs invisible UV light during the day and re-emits it as visible light, making it look incredibly bright at dawn, dusk, or under blacklights.
Can I use SF100 to wrap a car?
Avery SF100 is a 2.2-mil cast film, meaning it conforms well to simple curves. However, because its outdoor colorfastness is limited to 6 months, it is generally not recommended for full vehicle wraps unless the wrap is for a short-term promotional event or a race car. It is most commonly used for die-cut accents and striping.
Is this film printable?
Avery SF100 is a solid-color cut vinyl designed for use with vinyl plotters and craft cutters. It is not manufactured with a topcoat intended for digital inkjet printing (solvent, latex, or UV). It can, however, be screen printed or thermal transfer printed.
Why does fluorescent vinyl fade so quickly?
