I got a couple of scratches on my car because of my old garage doors. I didn't want to expend money in paint that part, so I searched for another solution and I found rvinyl site, I checked their wraps and how to do it.
I felt confident enough to try even I'm a woman :) so I purchased the 3M Satin Black. I took pictures of the entire process: first picture is to show my scratches, the second and third one are the removal process of the damaged part, after that I sanded a little bit the scratches, the fourth picture is right after I finished wrapping the part (not easy at all doing it by yourself, you really need a second person helping you), the rest of the pictures are to show the final result (not bad at all).
To be honest I didn't expect to look that good (talking about the quality of the product), I hope it'll last a long time. I did it on July 11 and since then..... I washed the car, it has been under a few storming raining and killer sun, still looking like the first day I did it.
Now I'm very glad I found this site because I fixed my car scratches and customize it at the same time (something I like to do to my car). Friends and neighbors gave me complements after I told them it wasn't a new part as they were thinking (they checked the wrap and my job with magnify glass lol), they really liked it very much. Now I have a new way to customize my car......... maybe next time interior?? I recommend the wraps, they are good quality. Thanks rvinyl!!
