At first I was hesitant to try and vinyl wrap my car , after watching many YouTube videos on how to install vinyl wrap, I told myself I can do this. What I did first was buy a small peace wrap and see if I could do it. It came out good after messing around with it for a few hours and a heat gun. Remember I have no experience in vinyl wrap. I gained more confidence knowing that the 3m vinyl wrap has air release Channels, this means that when laying the wrap down you can push the bubbles out buy smoothing It out with your fingers. I also learned that you can lay this wrap over a primered surface. You have to make sure that the primered surface has at least a 1000 grit smoothness. If your putting on a body kit , you don’t even have to primer the fiber glass , just make sure it’s smooth with 1000 grit, the 3m 1080 will stick. Man I saved myself 5000 dollars by learning how to wrap myself. Attached are some of the pictures. I hope this helps somebody else , also I bought this vinyl here on rvinyle.com because places like amazon and eBay have fake 3m vinyl from China that won’t stick, there are videos to prove that on YouTube.
