Perfect for the DIY installer and available in a wide, sixty-inch width and in roll lengths of up to ten yards.

Neon Fluorescent Film Specs

1080 Series 3M™ Satin Fluorescent Neon vinyl wrap films are made for use it right out of the box. And, even though you don't need to print or apply an overlaminate, we recommend that you do add one if you intend to keep your vehicle in direct sunlight since fluorescent films fade more quickly than other colors. Fabricated form high-quality, cast film for dimensional stability and durability, you can depend on them not to discolor or deform even around the craziest of curves.

  • Dual cast fluorescent vinyl
  • Pressure-sensitive, heat-activated
  • Invisible, air-drain adhesives
  • Sold by the foot in 60 inch rolls so you can wrap anything without seams
  • Semi-permanent and removable

Fluorescent Films and Fading

Neon Fluorescent colored vinyls fade much faster than normal vinyl colors and can fade in less than three months in direct sunlight. Heat-stretched areas tend to fade faster than "non-stretched" areas but overlaminating with clear vinyls designed to reduce the effects of UV light can double the fade resistance life. Keeping out of direct sunlight in the highest UV parts of the day will help. Horizontal (top) areas tend to fade faster than the vertical (side) areas.

Recommended Applications

The list below should give you an idea of some of the many uses of our Neon Fluorescent films. Clearly, there are hundreds more but here are some of the most common:

  • Solid color vehicle detailing
  • Standard vehicle graphics, detailing and decoration,
  • Multiple layered of graphics
  • Commercial vehicle and fleet graphics, emblems or striping
  • Watercraft graphics applied above the static water line only
