Roof Paint Protection Film

The roof of your vehicle often gets ignored but that doesn’t mean you should let the paint on the roof erode and get damaged day after day. Take action and protect it by installing roof paint protection kit and keeping the color of your vehicle looking great for years.

How Your Roof Gets Damaged

There are many things that can damage the paint of your roof and not all of them are visible to the naked eye. Some of the things that can damage your roof paint are branches, hail, road debris, UV rays and pigeon poop. Or it can be something blown towards the roof of your vehicle by strong winds. That is why it is better to be safe than sorry.

Protect your roof paint while also adding some pizzazz to your ride. There are dozens of colors, patterns textures, and finishes to give you a unique look. If you don’t like the way a film looks, the good news is that you can remove the wrap because they come easily without damaging your roof paint.

Better Alternative than Paint

You might be debating about getting a professional paint job but once you see the price tag, you will see why roof paint protection kit is a great alternative. Not only is it more affordable but it also takes a lot less time to apply. If you go to a shop, you might have to leave your car there for 1 to 4 days. If you used the kit, you would be done fast and won’t be away from your car for days. Doing it by yourself will take about 1 to 4 hours.

How Long Roof Paint Protection Wraps Last

Most roof paint protection kit brands have a lifespan of 10 years or more. With the proper care, your paint protection kit’s lifespan will be extended even longer. That means your vehicle will be protected without even spending any more money. We do recommend removing and reapplying the film every four or five years for the best results.

Besides changing the vinyl every four years, you also need to take care of the film to increase the longevity of the protection film. Avoid pressure washing the roof and any other part of the vehicle that is wrapped with film. Also, make sure to use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth with a solution that is car-safe.

Rvinyl™ roof wraps typically last five to seven years, though we recommend removing and reapplying your film after four years for optimal results. Also avoid parking under direct sunlight and follow manufacturing guidelines using polished, waxes, and treatments.
